Look at this. The same pictures you saw yesterday, with a boy thrown in the mix.
Don't feel bad that he's not matching his sisters. :)
We've been having a really nice summer. I'm genuinely sad to see it end, but I'm excited for fall and for what this next year will bring.
I recently decided to blog and sew exclusively for an hour at night after Superman and the kids have gone to bed. It probably doesn't even sound like that big of a deal, but the decision took me lots of time to come to and it's taken a surprisingly huge load off of my mind. As far as this blog goes, I have so much that I want to do and be. So many thing that I want to share and so much that I want to improve on, but the truth is that none of that matters to me if my family isn't happy.
One thing I didn't realize when I started blogging is that it is legit work. It doesn't just happen (at least not for me). You've gots to have some serious skills. I think if I worked at it, I could get there, but I'd have to call it a job and I just don't want to right now.
I love to sew, I love to write, but not to the detriment of the people I love. My kids are all at really needy ages, so for this season of my life, we're all so much happier if I'm a full time mama.
Nothing makes my life easier than knowing that my family is happy. That being said, I've still been getting lots done and I'm excited to get it all up here on the blog, it'll all just take time. Slowly and surely, I'll get this place up to speed, but for now, I've got a watermelon to enjoy.
